  • Enhanced handicapping support. The "Straight Average" system has been renamed to the "Automatic" system. Additional features include:
    • An option to adjust handicaps based on the course/tee being played.
    • A configurable max hole score for the purposes of handicap calculations.
    • Minor bug fixes relating to rounding and retrieving score history for leagues that play concurrent seasons.
    • The new configuration settings are disabled by default for existing seasons, so you should not see any changes to handicaps outside of a potential minor change from the bug fixes. You can manually enable the new settings if desired on the Manage Season Settings page.

  • Golf courses now include an Easy/Normal/Hard difficulty rating, which is used in the Automatic handicapping algorithm if "Apply Course Adjustment" is enabled. See here for details on this setting.
  • Golf course tees now include a "Hole Distance Units" setting of Yards or Meters, which is used in the Automatic handicapping algorithm if "Apply Course Adjustment" is enabled.
2024-08-11 As mentioned in the prior change log entry, all leagues that were still using USGA handicapping have now been converted to our Straight Average handicap system. Any updated player handicaps will take affect for future rounds... net scores for rounds previously recorded are unchanged.
2024-07-30 The USGA will not permit us to use their handicapping formulas, so unfortunately we need to remove these options. All leagues using them currently will be automatically switched to our Straight Average handicap system on Aug 11. It is recommended that you update your league settings prior to this date to ensure a smooth transition. Apologies for the inconvenience, it is out of our control. We plan to work on other handicapping alternatives in the coming months. Thanks.

  • New "Revoke League Access" option added to Manage League Members page, which allows removal of a player's league access without deleting their scoring history. See the Managing League Members help page for further details.
  • Enhanced Manage Golf Courses page to alert the league admin when editing a course that is in use by other leagues. Also added guidance on the Managing Golf Courses help page with recommendations for this scenario.

  • Enhanced the "Auto Schedule Matchups" capability to optionally shuffle the match order. See the Managing Season Schedules help page for further details.
  • For Premium users, added button to export data to PDF or CSV for various tables on the League Home, Roster, Schedule and Round Scores pages. This is similar to the export capability on the Advance Stats page that is already available to all users.
2022-04-10 "Rounds To Count In Standings" setting now supported for individual match play leagues in the season settings.
2022-04-07 Added new season setting to support half stroke skins. See the "Reduce Hole Handicaps By Half Stroke" setting on the Skins help page for further details.
2022-03-27 Added new season setting to limit how many strokes can be given on a hole in match play. See the "Max Strokes Given Per Hole" setting on the Manage League Season help page for further details.
2022-02-06 Updated Manage Season Teams page to allow saving teams without assigning all players. This allows for scheduling the team matchups in advance of finalizing the player assignments.
2022-01-09 Added new season setting to control which players can enter scores. See the "Who Can Enter Scores" setting on the Manage League Season help page for further details.
2021-10-10 Added "select all" buttons to more easily check all players on the Manage Season Members page when activating for the season or setting skins participation.
2021-05-26 Updated League Round Skins page to include the count of players participating in the net and/or gross skins competitions.
2021-05-07 Fixed bug on the Advanced Stats page that was causing the results to be sorted incorrectly.
2021-04-18 Fixed bug that was causing match play predicted handicaps to display incorrectly when playing a 9-hole course.
2021-04-11 Added new "Custom Points" individual scoring system, allowing manual entry of points earned by hole and/or round directly on the scorecard. See the Scoring Systems help page for further details.
2021-03-14 Update scorecard header info to include the season name.
2021-03-07 Added capability to toggle between the standard display and a dark theme. This option is only available to premium users.
2021-02-28 Updated leaderboard for match play seasons to display W-L-T match totals.
2021-02-20 Added Handicap History page, which shows how your handicap index has changed over time. This page is only available to premium users.
